a story.

Photobucket
once upon a time, there was a girl, who decided that she wanted to travel the world. so she left her job and spent her whole life savings and more to go to australia and fiji. she went scuba diving in the great barrier reef. she ordered 3 large fries with friends her friends and got enough fries to feed to all the people on streets. and they did. she went surfing, and repelling. she even got to ride a sailboat at dawn.
Photobucket
she ate the best burger she had ever eaten in her entire life. the lot burger. you
should try it. trust me, you will not be let down. she thought her life was complete..
Photobucket
she also ate kangaroo. it was very delicious. but smelled like poo while cooking.
Photobucket
frogs lived in her toilet. she went skydiving, and fed baby kangaroos and wallaby's.
her ship wrecked in fiji, and they had be rescued. it was quite the ordeal. she wasn't sure if she would ever get back home. she wasn't sure if that was a bad thing though... okay i lied. she would miss her family like crazy.
Photobucket
she came back and was the tannest she had ever been in her entire life. no one
she knew ever thought it would be possible for her to be tan. but she was. once.
Photobucket
then she re-met this dashing man. and this was the first picture ever taken of them.
Photobucket
and it wasn't the last. they went to vegas together... had their first kiss there.
and it wasn't the last...
Photobucket
and then they decided that they should probably get married. because they would probably have a hard time finding anyone else in the world who would put up with their crazy ways and wacky antics.
okay, mostly her. but still.
Photobucket
they got all dressed up and had some fancy shmancy pictures taken.
Photobucket
and then they got married on friday the 13th. people said that was bad luck.
but they would have to disagree... they toasted with dr.pepper, and had their first dance to this song.

they went back to vegas for their honeymoon.
and then went back again on their first anniversary.
they are classy people.
Photobucket
and then they kissed on top of a mountain. and it was awesome.

for the record, i am mostly posting these because i lost most my pictures in the posts about all this stuff.
and didn't want to go back and entirely re-do all those posts. because i am lazy.
so here is a condensed version of what got deleted...
and wait, what's that? no dog pictures in this post? you thought you would never see the day did you?!

p.s. mosey has learned to sit and has almost learned to lay down. we are so proud of him! he is crazy. he really is. but i guess he fits right in :)

the time that chloe went skydiving.

gosh, i think this is the longest i have ever gone without blogging in a really long time. i haven't been a great blogger this month. i am a very spontaneous person. i've talked about it before, but i can't plan to do things. i can pull out 3 blog posts in one day just because i have so much that i want to say. but if i have nothing to say then i usually won't try to find something to say... not sure if that makes sense or not... it's kind of like this post.. read it..and maybe you will understand. anyway, in that post i talked about the time i went skydiving. oh man was it amazing. i went while i was in Australia. it was honestly the most incredible thing that i have ever done. to say it was life changing, sounds like an understatement. i would do it again in a heartbeat.

this past weekend i was at my parents house and i finally found the video of me skydiving and thought i would get around to uploading it. unfortunately i don't have a dvd burner on my laptop so i had to record this while i played it on my computer. so if it's a little shaky, i apologize. also, i am not going to apologize for the big zit on my cheek. oh was it awful. i will blame it on the change of climate or something like that. yeah. that was it.

anyway, going to Australia was incredible. i went with a group called ISV. that stands for International Student Volunteers. it was amazing.  the best part about it all was that i came home and started dating sean a few weeks later. i had been laid off from my current employer because i had taken pretty much the whole summer off to go to Australia and Fiji. i knew there was a chance i would get laid off, but it was still hard to believe it when it actually happened. but then something amazing happened...

my sister got me a job at her work... first colony mortgage. and just turns out that sean worked there too... we had known each other from high school. but not that well. anyway, i remember my first day there. i remember being in a staff meeting and he was sitting behind me. we hadn't even really talked to each other yet, but for some reason we both just knew then that our lives were going to be completely different after that day. and they definitely were. and yeah, that is cheesy. but whatever. i don't even care.

so here is the video that changed my life. and if it weren't for me going to Australia and losing my job and finding a new one? i might not be where i am today. so when people say "sometimes you have to close one door so another one will open"? yeah.. i believe that.

{the video is kinda long.. if you want to just fast forward to the part where i jump out of the plane it is at about 3:00.. but if you watch the whole video you will kinda be able to see the part when the guy i was jumping with tried to trick me into thinking that our parachute/connecter thing was broken. i am very gullible apparently...}

p.s... these australian skydivers were amazing. they had each done over 3,000 dives. amazing. i can't imagine how cool/scary it would be to do that for a living. oh, and i screamed the whole way down. i will apologize for that. and i had snot and spit uncontrollably flying out of my nose and mouth. oh and tears. all over. and i whipped the guy behind me in the face with my hair. meh, oh well. and i didn't choose the music on this in case you were wondering. they put the video together and i paid $100 for it. it was totally worth it.
