cruise part six - last one.

they always had a cute little towel animal when we got back to our room at night. i loved it. i didn't get pictures of all the days, but oh well! here are some of them.

the ship had an ice skating rink on it. it was pretty sweet watching the ice show there one night. the rink is not that big, so to see the ice skaters perform crazy tricks on such a small rink, was really neat. on friday we got to skate on it with the group that we came with. it was a lot of fun...even if sean did get yelled at over the intercom for bringing a camera on the ice. ooops...




















the last few pictures were taken in florida the morning right before we got off the boat. everything went downhill from there it seemed..maybe we should have just stayed on it!

every single night on the cruise there was a show put on, whether it be musical, dance, ice, whatever. after the shows they would usually do a game show type thing. sean and i auditioned for the love and marriage game show.. we didn't make it on. and i don't really wanna talk about what we had to do to "audition" so i will just tell you about the one we did do! it was called "the quest". it was a scavenger hunt type game where 22 couples were pulled from the audience and we all stood in the middle of the stage. there were audience members behind us in all directions, and everyone directly behind each couple would be on that couples team. we each had a card with our number on it, and we would be asked to do/get things with the audiences help. for instance, one was "get something from somebodies mouth" so someone in our area would give us their gum and we would have to run up to the judge and he would shout out our number. the first 5 numbers shouted would get points according to the order that they were shouted..make sense? well another one of the challenges was to get something from someones mouth... besides gum.. yeah. dentures.. fake teeth..retainers. yuck! we couldn't find anyone in our area who could do it but there were lots of people running up with dentures in their hands..it was so funny. some of the other challenges were to change clothes with your partner..everything except underwear. yeah..sean and i didn't do that one.. but there was a 400lb old man that traded clothes with his tiny wife and it was hilarious.

i will tell you though that sean did put on another ladies bra, some lipstick, and a purse and had to walk around with 21 other guys strutting their stuff. it was so funny.... ironically? sean and i won the whole thing. yeah. don't know how that happened.. i didn't have my camera with me that night. in fact i was not prepared to be on the show. i was in my pajamas! anyway, i am still waiting for someone to send me pictures of that..so you all are in for a treat when i get them!

overall? it was an incredible trip. i feel so lucky that we were able to go and have such a great time. i really hope that it is not the last one that we go on! it was sooo much fun. i highly recommend a cruise to everyone!

cruise part five

our third and final port was in cozumel. we didn't really have any plans for the day. we just decided to sleep in and get off the ship when we felt like it and walk around the town. there were lots of shops and restaurants so we decided to sit on the beach at a little shop and had a quesadilla and watched people snorkel. it was a lot of fun. we then met up with troy and michele and went on a horse carriage ride through the town. it was a little scary because there would be cars literally just inches from the carriage, but it was still a lot of fun. i also made sean take a picture of those ladies with their bikini shirts on because i thought it was rad. haha.

cruise part four

our first port was in belize. unfortunately we didn't bring the camera because we were going to be going cave tubing and ziplining and we weren't sure if we would have a spot to put our camera. after we went, we realized we could have been fine had we brought it. oh well! other people brought their cameras, so hopefully we can get some of thoese pictures someday! we had a blast.

our second port was costa maya. this was seans favorite day, and one of mine as well. sean has been to the beach before, but never actually "played" at the beach. we definitely took advantage of this day and relaxed and layed out at this private jungle beach resort. it was so much fun. free drinks, yummy food, beach volleyball, reading, kayaking...  sean was acting the way i would act if i were in a candy store. it was the cutest thing i've ever seen. he was so excited to be there.

p.s. doesn't sean look good? he has lost almost 20 lbs since last year.. (most people have been shocked to find out, including sean and i ) which he hasn't really been trying and i don't think he really needed to lose... but he looks great!











































isn't our ship huge??? the ship next to it was another ship from the same line..and it was still really big too compared to the other ships we saw. sorry some of these pictures aren't too great! it was sooo sunny our and hard to get the lighting right in a lot of these. this day sean and i both got  A LOT of sun and poor sean was burned pretty bad. but now he has a nice tan so it's all good :) can you believe that we both forgot to bring sunglasses on this trip? yeah... we are smart.

sorry, you are probably going to get sick of hearing about the cruise! but i have to document for personal reasons, so you don't have to read or comment if you don't want to :)

cruise part three- formal night

day 2 of the cruise (monday) was a day at sea and the first formal night dinner. the dining room that we had dinner in every night felt just like the titanic. i loved having dinner. that was probably my favorite part :) unlimited appetizers, entrees, and dessert? yes please! one night sean ordered every dessert on the menu. i knew i married him for a reason. i forgot to take a picture of that though. oh and you think with sean ordering three entrees every night he would have gained weight? nope! sean lost weight on the cruise. i stayed pretty much the same. guess that is how it goes though right? not fair..

our waiters, antonio and dwayne were amazing. they memorized our names and had the drink they knew we would want ready for us shortly after we sat down. we even sat in a different spot every time and they had no problem. i loved it! we were fortunate to get to go on this cruise with sean's boss Troy, and his wife Michele. i just love them. i really do. i wouldn't mind being just like them in 10 years ;). they are so funny and always kept everyone laughing. they even made sure that on the last night at dinner our 2 year anniversary got celebrated :) they had the staff bring us out an extra dessert with a candle  and they even sang to us :) our anniversary is this sunday.. can you believe it?
