we finally got our christmas tree up! i love christmas. i am not ashamed to admit that i listen to christmas long before most people will allow it. i do it in secret. i don't even care. i love christmas. i love watching christmas movies every night, in fact i am watching elf right now. it has been on tv two times in a row. it's also in my dvd player right now. i am a little obsessed with christmas! i just love it. moses loves laying around the tree and pouting. it's what he is best at. sean and i work with the young men and young women in our ward and this week we got to go on a combined activity up to temple square. it was a little chaotic and there were tons of people but it was so beautiful! i haven't been able to go see the lights in a few years, so i am glad we were able to do it this year. it's so beautiful! sean and i kept talking about how next year at this time we will have a little 10 month old and how it will be so fun to experience christmas through his eyes. i can't wait!

november just flew by! i can't believe that it's already december. november has always held a special place in my heart because it's the month that sean and i got engaged. we got engaged right before thanksgiving 4 years ago. those pictures of us are from that night. we look so young! it's crazy how much can change in 4 years..

this year we hosted thanksgiving at our house for the first time! it was a lot of work but totally worth it. my parents came and so did sean's parents, brandon, and maddie. sam and sarah showed up for a little bit too! sean and i prepared the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pies. everyone else brought the rest! we wish we could have had the rest of the family here, but hopefully next year! it is crazy to think that next year we will have a little baby crawling around.

we had a few mishaps with the pies. okay i had a few mishaps.. haha. let's just say i only planned on making 2 pies. which is what we ended up with.. but i made about 4 pies in the process. it all ended up working out in the end though and i think that they turned out okay! i may have had a huge dramatic pregnancy meltdown in the process. which ended with sean and i laughing so hard at how ridiculous it all was. it was pretty funny. i am so glad that i have him to take care of me. i had overdone it that night and the next day i was so sore. he started a bath for me and pulled me out of bed and ordered me to get in and relax. i am a lucky lady!

moses has been super snuggly lately. i don't know if it's because we went out of town and left him for a bit but lately he has been so attached to me. he always wants to be right next to me on the bed. my growing belly has made it difficult having him sleep on the bed. we have had to start kicking him off at night. it breaks my heart but there just isn't enough room right now for my big belly, my body pillow, my 16 other pillows that i need for support and sean. moe still manages to fit on the bed somehow, but he likes to lay the the horizontal right in between us and it kicks us both off the bed. he hasn't really loved getting kicked off lately, but oh well. he ends up on his dog bed or under the bed. he loves being under the bed. hence all the hair under there that you can see in the first picture. don't worry, sean has vacuumed that all up since this was taken. i have been looking at getting a king size bed. i just haven't quite talked sean into it yet...  i really love my bed frame and headboard and that is really the only thing holding me back from getting a king. i don't think they make this bed anymore. :(

anyway, november has been busy for us both. it was a good month, but i am glad that it is over because now we get to move on to christmas time! i am a little bit obsessed with this time of year...

on saturday we had a pre-easter celebration at my parents! we had delicious filet mignon and crab. it was so much fun! if you want to see pictures of that day, check out my tumblr here. i directly post pictures from my instagram on there. there are no grandkids yet on my side of the family so we didn't really do an easter egg hunt or anything.. but it was still so much fun! my parents are so cute and had it all set up so nicely in their beautiful backyard.

on sunday we headed over to sean's parents and had an amazing turkey dinner. then the boys hid all the eggs for the grandkids to find. they are so cute! it was fun to watch! addi had chocolate all over her face. she was on such a sugar high, it was so funny. later as we were hanging out inside, her and kayla were pretending to be asleep on the floor. they kept asking me to take pictures. i love my nieces and nephew! i can't believe how grown up addi looks in the last few pictures. she doesn't look like a baby anymore. she looks like a little girl!

some other updates:

sean only has about 2 and a half weeks of school left until he graduates! i can't believe it!

i am headed out to youth conference on friday. i am sad because sean would normally come with us but he can't make it because of school. boo. it will be fun though! we are staying in a cabin at bear lake. apparently it is like 3 stories and has water slides inside and a theater. i can't wait!

softball started! i am on 2 teams. a women's team and our usual co-ed team. we had our first women's game on monday and we won! our first co-ed game is friday but we are both going to miss it..

that is all i can think of now. sean finally took a break from homework and we are catching up on the voice so i better go!

my baby brother got married.

my little brother sam got married yesterday to the sweetest girl ever, sarah. we are so excited and happy for them! he got married at 9:40 in Salt Lake, so we had to get up pretty early and brave the cold weather. it was all worth it though. I don't think i have ever seen a more excited/giddy couple. they have been engaged for 7 months, which in may not seem like a long engagement to most people, but in Utah? that is a very long engagement. kinda funny how it's different here. anyway, we are so happy for them! i wish sean would have made a normal face in any of these pictures, but then i remember that it wouldn't be sean if it was normal. and that's a good thing :) and besides i think we managed to get one decent one! after the ceremony we had an unplanned luncheon at the new texas roadhouse in orem. it was so fun to get both families together and stuff our faces. after that we had a little bit of time to go home and let Mosey out before we went to help set up for the reception. it was at Noah's in Lindon and it turned out absolutely beautiful. i can't wait until maddie get's all the pictures up of the reception and the ring ceremony. i still can't believe my little brother is married. i am so proud of him. he is such a stud. anyway, here are some pictures from right after the wedding...  i'll be sure to post more later of everything else that went on that day!

i wish more family and friends could have made it to the wedding and reception, but regardless it was still an incredible day. in fact, this has been an incredible weekend. we had 2 thanksgiving dinners and both were absolutely fabulous. my mom and aunt threw together a quick last minute thanksgiving meal that turned out to be amazing. then we headed over to Amanda's (sean's sister's) house for a wonderful made from scratch meal by Amanda and sean's older brother Brandon. it was incredible. thank you everyone for having us over. after that we went and saw the movie 127 hours which i highly recommend. you should watch the trailer. it is about the guy that slipped in the canyon and got his arm wedged between a boulder and the canyon wall. he stays down there for days trying to get out and has to resort to amputating his own arm with a dull pocketknife. warning, this movie isn't for those with a weak stomach. but it was incredibly inspiring and i always love movies that are based off of true stories. also this happened near moab, utah which i thought was pretty neat since we live in utah. anyway, it is snowing here right now and i am going to try to relax before we have to get ready for church. yay for nursery! ha. i hope everyone had a fabulous thanksgiving weekend! i'm not looking forward to this week...

oh! p.s. one more thing!

mosey would like to wish you all a happy holiday season.
