juli and olive.

this is my beautiful real life friend juli, and her lovely puppy olive. aren't they both beautiful? juli and i go way back to jr. high. we recently have come in contact again, and poor juli has just recently been diagnosed with RA. Rheumatoid Arthritis. for those of you who aren't sure what that is, click here and read her explain all about it. juli is such a sweet girl, and i feel so deeply for her and what she is going through right now.

i have had some similar symptoms that juli has had, and before she was diagnosed we had many good talks about it and both felt like we understood each other and the pains that we had. she is such an amazing person. she was at hair school in Seattle when she had to rush back here to Utah to get some testing done. i am so happy that she has an answer now, but so sad to see her in such great pain. somedays it takes all of her energy just to accomplish one task. all she wants to do is go back to Seattle and finish school. i have no doubt that she will finish!

the thing about juli is that she is incredibly selfless ( haha i may or may not have accidentally said selfish at first. sorry juli! ). with all that she is going through she is still incredibly concerned about others. she asked me to get some people to help her friend win an audition on the tv show Glee. so if you have some time and want to go help juli and her friend out, go here and vote for Erin. thank you !

a good cause.

last week one of our co-worker's son had a little lemonade stand to raise money for wheelchairs for kids in other countries. of course we had to check it out! he was so excited to see us. his school was trying to raise $86 dollars for one wheelchair.

zack decided that he wanted to raise his own money for a wheel chair. he made more than enough the first day, and decided to do it again the second day. he used the money to buy a build-a-bear for his little sister who should be due in a few months. what a cute kid eh? then he made sure to send us a thank you note for helping out. seriously.
