our younger years...

yes. i titled this post that. bear with me. haha. so yesterday sean and i had some grocery shopping to do after work. but i also wanted to go to the gym. because i have started to actually maybe sort of enjoy running. i know.. i know. GASP! never thought i would hear those words come out of my mouth. i would by no means ever call myself a runner. i haven't been doing it every day or anything but i have been trying to make my self run at least 3 miles when i go and it has been good for me! it feels so much different than the elliptical. and sometimes it makes my feet hurt because of all my surgeries but i feel like pushing through something that i loathe has been good for me! it definitely made me sore in the beginning but each time i go i feel less and less sore after. anyway, this is waaaay beside the point of this post.

so before going to the store, sean dropped me off at the gym and decided to go say hi to his cousin and his wife while i ran. after he picked me up he had an envelope of pictures of us in the car. i had forgotten that they had these! his cousin ren put together our wedding video at our reception and still had all these pictures. not all of these pictures got used so i kind of forgot about them! in fact, i don't think sean had even let me see all of the ones of him. after he so kindly put the one up on facebook of my sister and i in our underwear i decided that it was okay to post a picture of him in his flashy hot red plastic pants up on this here blog. there are a lot more pictures but sean told me i had to stop taking pictures of them with my phone so we could start the bachelorette and extreme makeover weight loss edition. i married a man with priorities people. i will try to post some more later. here is a flashback of our past!

p.s.s. for the record? sean actually only watches the bachelorette because of me. he is such a great husband. he is really into manly shows like holmes on holmes, overhaulin, golf, basketball, sister wives, and football. it was just funny to hear him yell from the couch "hurry up! we have lots of tv watchin' to do tonight!" i guess i just assumed he was as excited about the bachelorette as i was. which p.s.s.s? i don't know what to think of this season. last nights episode was nuts!

flashback friday #1 "Sea Foam Green"

so sean and i have been going back through our blog lately... you know.. reading from the very beginning. reminiscing. it's been a lot of fun and we have had a lot of good laughs looking back.. but it also made me really sad because most of those pictures got lost..remember? when i tried to change my account over to my married name? yeah. big FAIL. anywho.. i wanted to re-post this post because i was feeling a little down last night and came across this. it made me laugh and it brought back a lot of awesome memories. unfortunately i lost most of these pictures. HOWEVER. i did manage to find one on my computer at work. it is a little bit blurry.. but i decided that i will illustrate most of these pictures for you.. and then for the special suprise at the end, you will get the one original. and once again? i know i am incredibly talented at drawing. you don't need to tell me how awesome i am at it! also? bear with me.. i am going to try and remember the pictures to the best of my ability... they probably aren't even as close to funny as the real thing. Also, i might do this more often. bring back some old posts that lost pictures... i got all of my wedding and stuff on here but i haven't fixed a lot of just the random posts and memories that we had. so i am going to try re-post some of those if i can!

Sea Foam Green

I don't know what has been going on with Sean these past few days..but lets just say things have been pretty interesting around here. I am not quite sure where to even start. A few posts back, I mentioned how Sean has a little ADD. I am going to take that back. He has A LOT of ADD. This man cannot sit still for the life of him. I don't know if its because of the cold weather, or because Sean needs some medication. Either way, I like it because I have been laughing my head off for the past 2 days. Sean claims he has "a lot of personality, that's all" . Yeah...uh huh, right. Anyway, before I show you what he has been up to, I must warn you that the last part, is well.. I don't even know how to explain. Lets just say I warned you! Oh and for the record, Sean was all for me posting these pics. It's apparent that we have made this blog to embarrass each other. So bring it on! And before you all vote me the meanest wife in the world, remember that! He asked for it!

Exhibit A:

Now I know what your thinking.. Sean is shoveling snow. That seems pretty normal right? WAIT A MINUTE--This is not our home. This is not our work. Sean does not get paid to shovel snow for a living. No one at Utah Community Credit Union asked him to shovel the snow. So why is he shoveling?

Sean was tired of waiting for me to take care of some things. So he looks outside and sees a shovel and says this " I think I really want to go shovel the snow." Before I can even check his temperature, he is out the door. I guess Sean just loves his bank that much. I mean if I owned a bank I would be proud to call Sean a member. But I don't own a bank, and I would never shovel their snow. Oh well. He was that bored.

*edited to add: yes you might be wondering where sean's pants are. well either i got too lazy  to finish them..or i just thought that since i can't post picture of sean on here without pants on everyday without getting divorce papers handed to me? i might as well do it in a picture. your welcome.

also? i don't know how to draw white snow on white so you just get gray okay?

Exhibit B:

Sean insisted on building a snowman the other day, right after work. I was laying down in our bed and he kept running in, keep in mind he was still in his work clothes. He kept mumbling to himself "Yes! I am such a genius!" He was saying that as he grabbed the beanie for the snowman. He didn't know I was taking pictures. I didn't know I was marrying a 5 year old. Oh wait, yes I did! That's okay though, because I love it. It always keeps things interesting.

Exhibit C:

{I could not draw these pictures. lets just say sean was taking his blood pressure in one with the biggest grin on his face. shooting a bbgun with the other.. and taking picture of the inside of his mouth.}

All of these pictures were taken within 5 minutes of each other. Sean found a BB gun and was shooting it my friends backyard. Then Sean asked if he could check his blood pressure. Then Sean decided to take these lovely pictures. I don't know if I have much else to say about this. The pictures say it all. (P.S. I have a video of him recording the inside of this mouth for like 45 seconds. He was pretty delighted about it)

I am going to explain this one a little bit first. Last night I was working on some hair flowers in our TV room, and I didn't know what Sean was doing. All of the sudden, he walked into the room. And this is what I saw----

I seriously almost died laughing. I received the night gown at my bridal shower. Sean loves it. He hung out in it the rest of the night. The other night on our way home from a wedding reception, he said he wanted to go home and lounge in it. He said it was so comfortable. I guess I am not far off when I call him Martha Stewart.

Anyway, I hope that some people got a laugh out of this. I wanted to post it so I never forget how much he makes me laugh. I love this kid. Seriously. Even if life is BORING for him, its never boring for me. **** NOTICE THE BLANKET--NOTICE THE BLANKET!!! He loves Banks just as much as I do.

{he was holding my baby blanket in some of the pictures... sad that i lost them :( }

OH AND ONE MORE THING. NOTICE THE LADLE!! NOTICE THE LADLE! so happy that it could make another appearance on this here blog. RIP poop ladle.

sean? i love you. thanks for making me laugh again, even when you weren't aware of it. i'm glad i started this blog when we got engaged and filled it with ridiculous stories. i'm sure some people thought we might regret it one day? but it was totally worth it :) i'm so glad that i get to spend the rest of my life with you.
