Black Mountain Ranch Part One

oh man, what a fun weekend! we just got back yesterday from spending the weekend at Black Mountain Ranch in Colorado. we went to visit sean's brother brandon. it was such a blast! i can't even begin to explain how amazing it was. seriously. we owe brandon big time! i am so grateful that he let us come and see him. we have missed him so much! everyone at the ranch was so nice and friendly. i loved it. it was awesome. it was so beautiful. the weather was around 70-80 degrees. much better than this 100 degrees in utah! i hate being hot! anyway, i am going to break these posts up since i took over 275 pictures. oops. i promise i won't post that many though. i know my posts always end up being way too long so i will try to keep them short and spread them out.

so we took off from utah at about 9:30 on friday morning. this was the longest road trip that we have taken with moses and he did so good. except that he really kept wanting to come up front and sit in my lap the entire time. he is so funny though. he would seriously rest his head on our shoulders and put all his weight on us. thinking that we would eventually let him up there. we stopped for lunch in grand junction and had some subway. we stopped at a huge park and let moe run around for a bit. we ate delicious tapatio doritos. seriously. go get some. if you like hot stuff? you will like these. anyway, the drive was about 6 and a half hours. and i look pissed in that picture but i am not haha. it's hard taking pictures of yourself. not sure why i even bothered!

we finally pulled in to Black Mountain Ranch in the late afternoon. these are pictures of the ranch. the first cabin is the one that we got to stay in. it was so neat inside. wood floors, log beds. so neat. my brother in law brandon works in the other cabin. that is the dining hall. we ate some AMAZING food while we were there. i definitely am going to miss that! moses sure did love running around with all the other dogs. we have missed brandon's dogs koda and riley too. it was so good to see them. they sure love it out in doggy paradise. moe tried so hard to keep up with them and the 20 other dogs that live there but he overdid it on the first day. he wore down the padding on his paws and could barely walk the rest of the time. poor little guy! he is still so worn out. he sure did have a blast though. anyway.. more to come later!

What a great place! All the manly things Sean could do with his (your) dog. It looks like a lot of fun.
