smores stuffed chocolate chip cookies.

i made these delicious things this weekend as mother's day gifts. hey now, i know it's not the most expensive gift, but it's the thought that counts right? also? for me? they way to my heart is through chocolate, candy, and/or baked goods. oh wait.. this was for our mother's though. well.. i think or at least hope that they enjoyed them! if you know me you know that i have a slight obsession with chocolate, cookies, marshmallows, graham cracker.. i mean.. you saw my toast right? i have also created my own special muddy buddie recipe that involves marshmallows, and golden grahams. i call that my smore muddy buddies. you may have heard me talk about it in the past in almost every post.

anyway, i found the recipe for the smores stuffed chocolate chip cookies here. i want to marry this girl for coming up with this recipe. she is awesome! the pictures on her site are a lot better than mine.. but oh well! these cookies are HUGE by the way. i love it. also.. if they have cooled off? all you need to do is a put them in the microwave for a few seconds. the marshmallows start oozing out of the cookie. one cookie could feed like 4 people. but you need at least 4 cookies to feed chloe. and i am serious.. this is actually a whole smore.. inside of a chocolate chip cookie. genius i tell you. genius. my only complaint is... WHY DID I NOT EVER THINK TO DO THIS BEFORE?
