THS idol, a wedding, and working out.

i just have to say that i have incredible friends and family. i recieved a gift from my friend crissy in the mail. it was a book of quotes about how precious all women in this world are. it meant so much to me. thank you crissy! also my adorable friend brittany brought me a Buddha elephant to work to be my good luck charm. she attached the cutest quotes to it. both of these girls totally made my day. thank you guys!

i have been pretty busy these past few days and need to respond to a lot of people by email and such. sorry i have been a slacker! this last weekend was great. on friday night we went and watched my cousin kylie participate in her high schools version of American Idol. we found about it just a few hours before it started and decided we needed to go. it was so much fun! and the best part? SHE WON! it was awesome. she is amazing. she plays the guitar and she even wrote one of the songs. she is so good. after that we headed to pizza factory for dinner with my family and hers. it was a great night.

saturday my beautiful cousin jenessa got married! we had a luncheon at brick oven before the wedding. the wedding ceremony took place at wadley farms in lindon. it was absolutely beautiful and so nice to catch up with all my relatives. after the ceremony sean and my dad and brother decided to put on a poker game so they all left while us girls hung out at the reception. i had to go back up to springville to get stuff for our soccer game that began at 12:10 am. yes. you read that right. our soccer game was at 12:10 am. it was rough but my brother, cousin, and uncles girlfriend ended up playing with us. we lost, but it was still fun.

sunday was church and we were so late getting home that we didn't make it to sacrament. we did get to nursery though. those kids are so darn funny. they are 2 and 3 years old. one of the other teachers was giving a little lesson about families and she said "okay now what can we do to help our mommies out? how about obeying them?" one of the little boys says "ooooo! obeying...." haha maybe you had to be there but it was so cute. i just love them.

monday i started my new fitness plan. i have started to blog about it and hesitant to make it public. i don't know why. i feel like i write more like it's a journal on that blog. it's kind of scary putting it all out there! i know i am pretty open on this blog too. so i don't know what the deal is. i feel kind of silly for being the laziest girl in the world and trying to get in shape and healthy. but i am doing it and i feel pretty good so far. i needed an outlet for my depression and anxiety and i think this will help me a lot. i am trying to eat better as well. i have decided to blog about it everyday. keep track of what i eat, the exercise that i do. i want to find out what foods work for me. i always get stomach aches so i think by recording what i eat it will help me find out what bothers me the most. it has been good so far and i like having a routine. now... to keep it private or not? i don't know why i am scared.. i'll think about it. anyway, i am not feeling so well tonight so i am going to just relax the rest of the night and try to go to bed early. goodnight!

*update: i decided to make it public. you can check it out here if you are interested.

I think the blog is a good idea. It's inspiring to read things like that. I feel very similar to what you have described. I've been having a lot of stomach issues and can't figure out what food is causing them. I don't always eat properly, I love sugar and bread, and tried to cut them out for two days but got a completely different kind of sick doing that! I am back to toast for breakfast and I have SO much more energy now! :)

I've never been to big on sharing my diet/workout plan either. I don't know why? Maybe it's cause if I slip up one day I don't want to feel like I have to announce it to the world! ha ha!

Sounds like that book of quotes is so cute! I love reading neat quotes!! Have a great week girl!

Whew....I'll tell you what, I desperately need to eat better and take better care of myself. So, I'm really glad you've decided to make your other blog public! Maybe your efforts will be able to help me with my own efforts! ;)
Love you, Chloé! You are the awesomest girl I've never met! ;)

I think it will be good for you to keep track of your fitness and eating habits. It helps give more motivation to actually do it. Maybe I should write mine down so I'll actually do anything. Food journals totally help figure out what's bothering your body. I used to get stomach aches pretty much every time I ate, and I got bloated a lot, so it was hard to figure out. I went to a natural allergist and he told me I was allergic to sugar and wheat among an bunch of other things. So I did a natural healing thing for those two and my stomach aches and bloating are pretty much gone! If you are interested in it, let me know, and I'll share the info with you!
