a good cause.

last week one of our co-worker's son had a little lemonade stand to raise money for wheelchairs for kids in other countries. of course we had to check it out! he was so excited to see us. his school was trying to raise $86 dollars for one wheelchair.

zack decided that he wanted to raise his own money for a wheel chair. he made more than enough the first day, and decided to do it again the second day. he used the money to buy a build-a-bear for his little sister who should be due in a few months. what a cute kid eh? then he made sure to send us a thank you note for helping out. seriously.

i can't even send out thank you notes for my wedding. actually i wrote half of them. but now it's been 13 months and i am embarassed to send them out. and by embarassed i mean incredibly lazy.. and somewhat embarassed. isn't that cute of him though??

How sweet! I love seeing lemonade stands. I always stop to get some, no matter what. It's so cute to see how excited they get when you hand them their money!

such a sweet little kid!

Seriously... I never got in the habit of writing thank-you notes... hope my future wedding guests don't mind that the likelihood of a thank you note is slim to none.

What a great kid! It's so lovely to see that he wrote thank you cards, not many kids still remember them these days!

What a sweetie!

I did the same thing! I wrote out like 75% of my thank you notes and they sat in a pile for about a year and then I decided I was too embarrased to actually send them out. So I shredded the evidence.

I told everyone thank you at the wedding, I think that sufficed. :]

this is so so sweet chlo!

i've been a horrible commenter lately too :(. i haven't really read any blogs in like a week! it's a bit ridculous.

oh...and don't feel bad about the wedding thank yous - it took me like 4 or 5 months to send mine out and i felt kinda guilty, but then i read online that you have way longer to send them out....at least that's what officially etiquette standards say :).

love you girl!
