happy new year! {a day late, of course}

we had a great new years this year! we weren't really planning to do anything big. sean made a delicious pork tenderloin dinner, with stuffing, brown rice, and green beans. our friends grant and britt came over and brought some treats and tons of sparkling cider. and by tons i mean 8 bottles. it was awesome. they also brought happy new year hats, and tons of noisemakers to help ring in the new year. we played phase 10, and by that i mean that the guys kicked our butts and it took me like 10 rounds to get out of phase 1. yeah, whatever it's a game about luck, i decided. anyway, we had a great time and here are some pictures of the night!

i made these yummy oreo cream cheese balls.
i may have eaten almost all of them today. oops.

sean and grant were so funny. they ran out onto the lawn and were spraying sparking cider bottles in the air and hollering like crazy. it was so funny i almost peed my pants.

hope everyone had a happy new year!  2009 was an awesome year.

we got married.
sean almost died on our honeymoon.
went to jackson hole.
went to pebble beach.
learned that we are going to have a new niece!
made lots of new friends.

it is amazing how much can change in one year.
i am excited to see where we will be next year at this time!

Hopefully this time next year you will be pregnant. Kidding. No pressure. I told Britt that I hated when people were all "When are you gonna have kids??" It was so annoying. Then when you're ready it's not annoying. So my point is..no pressure from me. Have them when you want. I mean, I would love if you were having one so our kids could be BFs and hang out and whatever, but no pressure. Kind of. No seriously, I'm kidding. But it would be cool...

I am so extremely jealous if this party. I seriously want to hang out with you guys. Seriously.

Your sparkly sweater? Awesome. I have to admit I was a little worried, but I love it.

And your new hair looks awesome too. I forgot to say that in the last comment. I like the no bangs. Aren't bangs a pain? I never know what to do with mine. They grow out way too fast and then I cut them myself and massacre them. Yes. I said massacre. Are you impressed? Even though I probably didn't spell it the right way?

Okay. Those oreo balls or whatever? I want those. Seriously. Or at least the recipe. PLEASE! I was like, oh those look good. Then you said they were oreo cream cheese or whatever and I REALLY wanted them. Give me the recipe. Now. Okay. I don't know why I wrote that like a threat. But I do want it. Or just some of them. You can make them for me. That would probably be best.

So we went to Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakwel last night. It was pretty good. I'm telling you this for one reason...I know you are a movie lover, so tell me...how do you suck it up and pay $17 for movie tickets every time?? I love going to the movie, but whenever I do and they tell me the ticket total I'm like are you freaking kidding me? Maybe I should just wait a month and get it for a dollar at Redbox? Seriously.

I agree with how crazy it is what changes in a year. Last Christmas I would have never imagined I'd be pregnant. 8 months pregnant. But, I do remember that last year at Christmas I kept telling Michael that it felt like someone was missing when his whole family was together. Everyone was there, but I felt like something was missing. Michael thought I was pregnant because that same thing used to happen to his mom when she was pregnant. Well, I wasn't pregnant. Dur. But maybe that was me getting ready? Or something? I don't know why I"m even telling you this because my point is really that I had no clue we'd have a baby on the way this Christmas. Crazy.

I'm glad you said "You're having a baby next month" AH! Scray! I mean I'm excited, but ya know? Another girl that is due like a week after me said the same thing to me. Next month?? That seems like nothing. I can't believe it. Sorry I'm going on and on about my pregnnacy when you could probably care less.

Anyway, this comment? I'm thinking you could probably turn it into a book. Sorry it's eternal.

Looks like fun! Did you or Sean take that picture of you guys kissing at the end? I tried to take a picture of Josh and I kissing at midnight, but all that I managed to get in the frame was the top of Josh's bald head. Oh well.
