Runaway Diamond...

Ughhh.. This week has been one of those weeks for me and Sean. Where little unecessary things "come up" and "sneak in" just to try to test your patience. I haven't blogged in a bit because there hasn't been anything too particularly funny or important to blog about. But right now I am a little steamed so I think I will blog about that.

Oh my ring. I feel like it just will never be the way it needs to be. It's either too big, too small, or a diamond decides to fall out. Like today. I was on my way to work...excited because I got some new clothes.. actually woke up early enough to fit in a shower and get ready, my hands weren't hurting as bad as they normally do, and my ring actually fit today! Wahoo! Even after getting it re-sized it still has a hard time fitting some days. Today it fit and I was happy. So as I am driving to work with the windows down, I glance down at my shiny ring...and "Gasp!" one of the diamonds is missing. Ughh. I kept my cool and told Sean when I got to work. He told me not to worry and said that he would take care of it. "It should be under warranty, so no big deal!" Well he went to the mall to take care of it at lunch.. and the guy there told him it would be $80 to fix it! Sean asked about the warranty and he said we didn't have it and it would cost $127. So Sean says he wants the warranty, and the guys says " Oh, but you have had the ring for longer than 3 months, so its too late." Sean did not like this. No one makes Sean angry. Right then and there Sean's skin color started to turn from peach to green. And all of the sudden his clothes started to rip because he was growing at a rapidly super-un human like fast rate. Okay I wasn't there, but this is what I heard from witnessess. Okay I don't know if this happened or not, but all I know is that Sean made the guy give him the warranty, my ring is covered for life, the diamond will be replaced, and they are even going to re-dip it in gold to make it all shiny again. I don't know what Sean did to fix this situation. But I know if it were me I would have just started to cry or probably just been like "I am so sorry for troubling you Mister!" Or maybe showed a little cleavage.. hey.. whatever works right? I kid, I kid... anyway...can I just tell you it rocks being married to a superhero?

I can't believe you already lost your diamond. I at least waited a year j/K. I'm glad you got it taken care of.
