if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.

haha, i had that post title quote backwards and just noticed. oops! fixed now :) today was such a neat day! sean got to compete in the 2011 dodge barrage with some of our co-workers. all proceeds from the tournament go to a foundation that former jazz players kyle korver and deron williams started. they even competed in the tournament. i was so glad that i ended up going because i got to meet kyle, deron, cj miles, and wesley matthews. they are the ones in the red shirts and the green pants in the second to last picture. those were actually ninja turtle pants haha. they had face paint and bandannas. it was awesome. also.. i learned that sean must be a closet professional dodgeball player. okay not seriously, but really.. he was incredibly good at it. i missed the first 2 games. there are three rounds in each game and they had only won one of those because sean had been the last guy up and ended up staying in the game and winning it for his team! after that there were a few more games. sean had some impressive moves that i don't think i have ever seen before. haha. anyway, i was really proud of him. it was so much fun to watch and they did so good. obviously they are all in black shirts but sean had blue shorts on and you can see a white undershirt peaking out from the bottom of his black shirt. in case you were wondering which one he was..

i had all the above nba players sign my cursed purse. i wasn't planning on it at first, but i really didn't have anything else for them to sign. this purse has brought me nothing but bad luck. you can read all about it here. honestly, i am not sure why i even bother wearing it. i haven't for a long time and i started to again and i just don't even care anymore if it gets dirty. i used to baby the thing since it was the most expensive bag that i have every purchased. anyway, i thought.. what the heck.. i'll have them sign the inside of it. and they did! hopefully now this purse will bring me good luck! oh and these pictures are not great at all. i shouldn't even post them but it was such a cool experience that i can't not. the lighting in there wasn't great. i don't know how to take action shots, and half of these are from my phone because it zoomed in more that the camera that my sister gave me. also, i even brought my point and shoot. man i have pictures all over the place. unfortunately my computer will not recognize that camera anymore so you will have to wait to see more pictures that sean took of d will and kyle signing my purse! anyway.. it was such a fun day! they ended up getting out in their 5th game. but it was so much fun to watch. so in the end they lost their first two, won the next two, and lost the last. i was really hoping that they would get to play deron's team. maybe next time though eh?
