we spent the rest of the night dancing in the saloon but mostly just watching brandon dance! he was one of only 2 guys on the staff there that country dances. so all the girls took turns with them haha. it was so much fun to watch. i could not believe how good he was at it! i mean, he is good at everything he does. but it was just so fun to see him do this. he seemed so happy out there and we loved seeing him so happy. sean and i danced a little bit and played some foosball. he might have beat me but i definitely want a re-match!

we were so exhausted after this day so we went to bed a little earlier than everyone else. when we woke up in the morning we had breakfast and then started some chores! hey, we had to earn our stay there somehow right? trust me though, it was totally worth it. we went on poo patrol with brandon and amy. poo patrol consisted of amy getting in the bobcat and driving while the rest of us used these rake things to gather up poop on the ranch. since the cattle drive was the day before there was lots of cow and horse poop on the main road through the ranch. so we did that and helped clean up the saloon from the night before. sean is such a hard worker and swept and mopped that entire floor. i wiped all the tables down and counters down and emptied trashes and stuff. with a lot of us working it wasn't too bad at all! i would definitely do it again to get to stay there. it was incredible.

after all the cleaning we decided to go to the pool. this pool is up really high and has an awesome view. the water was a little cold so i didn't stay in for long but mostly just watched everyone play volleyball. moses even came up and hung out with us! he kept trying to get the ball though. but was afraid of the water. haha, silly dog. after that we had some lunch and sean and i went to take a nap. i must have been so tired because when i woke up sean was gone. he had gone up to play volleyball again in the pool. this time they had a more official game going on. i headed on up there and just watched for a bit. we were both pretty sunburned by the time all was said and done. it was worth it though and now we have a little color so it's all good :)

after that we went and watched amy rope some cattle and then had one last dinner at black mountain ranch. some of the staff had painted the picnic tables earlier in the day so we got to eat outside on them. we had a real southern bbq with all the new guests that had arrived that day. the food was delicious. we had ribs, pork, chicken, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, corn on the cob, salad, and bread pudding. mmmm. that bread pudding was amazing. unfortunately my camera had died at this point but we decided to head out and shoot some guns one last time. this time we brought flo with us! the one that wanted to shoot seans big gun and see the bear. so we shot guns... saw the bear. and then ended the night with watching the office at brandons place (above the dining hall). it was so much fun. i seriously loved this place and can't wait to go back. all of the people were so funny and nice. i didn't want to leave. we left really early the next morning. it was sad to leave. but i know we will be back! seriously, if you ever get the chance to go up there... take it! it was so amazing. anyway. that is the last of the black mountain ranch posts! thanks for being patient with me!
