i got this for the price of a subway sandwich.

yes. this is true. i bought this side table for $5. $5. yes. you read that right. $5. sometimes when you go to D.I? it is hit or miss. well a few weeks ago i saw this in the outdoor section. usually pieces that i see like this there are like at least $35. when i got a closer look at the price i immediately tried to put this whole thing in my shopping cart. except for i didn't push that one baby seat/purse holder up. and it wouldn't fit and people were staring and i started to sweat and was afraid i would drop it and then i would have to pay for it anyway. but then i remembered that it was only $5 so i didn't even care. i ended up getting it to fit and i walked around the rest of the store with it in my cart. a nice man even helped me put it in my car. i plan to sand it down and paint it black to match the rest of our furniture. what's that you say? not white? i know.. sean said the same thing. he was very happy i decided to go with black... i will show you the after pictures once i get around to actually completing this project...

i know. my phone photography skills are awesome. try not to be too jealous. ha. don't worry they will be getting even better because my sister maddie just gave me her old camera that is all professional and i think with the price it was orginally bought at it is pretty much required to take a decent picture. actually i just wish that would happen. i know it takes talent and skill to take pictures. so i will work on it. luckily i have maddie to help me! thanks for the camera maddie! once the battery gets charged and i figure out how to use it i will try to post some pictures. i think moses will be my muse. if anyone objects to that? you can leave this blog right now.

update. the battery is charged.. here are some pictures with the new camera. and as promised.. moe was my muse....

Love the pics!!! Nice job girl. Do you just love Zumba or what?
I need to find some cute stuff like that for $5. Or close to it. I have had no luck when it comes to that. Boo!

p.s. your feet are not freaky, you are silly.

I love that table! Man, I need to frequent DI more, it seems like there is never anything there. Or really, I just don't want to buy stuff for my house if I'm moving soon, so I have been holding off on buying stuff like that for a year. Ugh, that's a long time. That's so awesome that Maddie gave you her old camera. I was thinking, I need a sister to give me an old camera, and then I remembered that my sister is a wedding photographer. Maybe I should hit her up!

How do you find good things at D.I.??? I have tried looking for cute things like you find and I've only left empty handed. That and the feeling that I need to go home and take a shower. :) Just kidding. kind of.

It was so nice meeting you last night and the 80's night was fun...even though the macarana (sp?) was a bust! I hope you go again! It's definitely a workout...and I feel so dumb most..I mean all of the time!!!

So email me - jrovery@yahoo.com - and I'll totally add you to my blog - then you can return the favor of stalking me ;)

yay for a good deal AND for losing your zumba virginity! let me know how it went - i think it's pretty much the most fun you can have working out. and i would guess that in utah it would be a big hit, because aren't mormons super into dancing? perhaps i'm stereotyping, but seriously every LDS person i've ever met has all these secret dancing skills....like clogging and swing, and salsa, etc...,etc..... i'm jealous!
