cabin getaway.

sean and i had a great weekend getaway for our anniversary.
we started our night out by eating at Claim Jumper in Heber.

sean.. getting ready for the deer hunt.

the yummy ribs that we both got..
and unfortunately couldn't finish.
we should have shared. isn't that
how it always seems to turn out?

driving through Sundance

the cute little A-frame cabin that we spent the weekend in.

the river was just a few feet down from the cabin..

we woke up on sunday morning and it was snowing like crazy.
it was so pretty. these pictures don't do it justice.
we went snowshoeing that morning.
for like 45 5 minutes. but i am so out of shape couldn't breathe
 so we had to stop.

we took two pictures like this.
one looked like i had snot coming out
of my nose. and one of them looked like snot
was coming out of sean's nose. so i went
with this one.. i know i am mean. sorry sean!
i promise it is just snow...

we just spent the weekend watching movies and sleeping.
it was perfect. and so quiet. we ate lots of junk food and
enjoyed the warm fire from inside, while watching the
snow fall outside. it was absolutely perfect. i love you sean!

Wow, that is a lot of snow! But gorgeous. Wow.
Glad you had fun...I guess this makes up for Sean leaving you next weekend...sort of...

And I'm pretty sure, if I show Cori a picture of those ribs, he'll be forced to take me out to get some. Or he'll be a wiener and ask "where'd they get those? ...Ok, see ya!" And then he'd leave me for ribs....yeah, I don't think I'll show him after all... ;)

Sounds perfect! that's how all vacations in the snow should be. A teensy bit of time outside, LOTS of time inside cuddling and being warm.

Snow is all about not being in it, but admiring it right??

you guys are so sweet together, and you are just gorgeous!! doesn't it suck how the snow doesn't look half as pretty in pictures as it is in real life? xo!!

That sounds like an amazing weekend, and I am crazy jealous! I miss The Claim Jumper too! They have this dessert there with melted chocolate inside of bread bites and vanilla ice cream. I can't even remember what it's called, but it takes 15 minutes to make and it is heaven. My old roommate and I used to go there all the time to study for tests and just gorge! Then I moved to Alaska and we don't have any of the yummy chains... sad!

this sounds like heaven.

I have eaten at that claim jumper.

It was one of the worst dates of my life. they guy was a geeeeeeek! and not in a cute endearing way. ewwww!

I was confused when I went into a newly opened up claim jumper a few years ago and it wasn't like this one in Heber at all... It's all commercialized and trendy and stuff. are they at all connected? I am still confused.

P.S. thanks for liking my photos. It makes me like you even more! :)

That is such a cute cute cabin. Holy cow, there was a lot of snow up there. Hopefully that made the cabin even more cozy. I'm glad you had a good anniversary celebration.

How fun! Our anniversary is coming up in April and I am thinking to do a weekend in Park City or something. We have never gone away for our anniversary (this will be our third) so I really hope it works out.

Claim Jumper has a chicken dish that I absolutely love! I could really go for that right now.

Glad you had fun celebrating. You two are darling!
