. . . . shootin' out on the range . . . .
after dinner on friday night we decided to go out and shoot some guns. sean LOVES his gun. the sunset was so pretty and we even took moe out with us. i honestly thought that he would hate it. he is afraid of everything. vacuums, blow-dryers, mixers, his own tail, loud noises, and wheelchairs. i did not think that he would like loud guns. but he actually did really well. even before i put the earmuff/headphone thingys on him. in fact i think he loved that part the best. i can't get over how cute he is. it kills me. also, i quite enjoy watching sean shoot guns. it's so manly haha. that sounds cheesy but i still think it's attractive. we put a target way out in this tree that was about 150 yards away and sean hit it dead on. i was pretty proud of him. i couldn't hit something if it was 2 feet in front of me and i had a stick. stupid eyes. i guess we can't all be blessed with better than perfect vision eh sean? pshhhh.. showoff.. ;)
anyway after shooting we were driving back and i spotted a bear! you can see it if you look closely in the last picture! i guess this bear hangs around and usually comes out at night to steal food out of the garbage truck. he is a black bear (even though he looks brown) and apparently fairly harmless. . for a bear. anyway, there is this adorable girl named flo that works there. she is from france and her dream is to see a bear. she was so sad when she found out that we saw him without her. she has been waiting two months to see him. she goes out with her night vision goggles to try and spot him. well luckily 2 nights later after shooting i spotted him again.. and she was with us this time. she was freaking out! it was the funniest thing ever. she jumped out of the car and actually chased him down the hill. she was hilarious. i am so glad she got to see him before going back to france! she kept saying "next step? touching the bear!" haha. i wish i would have gotten pictures of that part but my camera was dead by then. i did bring the bigger new camera that my sister gave me but didn't end up using it at all because it was kind of big to lug around. (especially on the cattle drive which i will be posting about soon.. ) oh well! my little point and shoot did alright!

These pictures are amazing. I'm telling you, Colorado has some of the most incredible sunsets I have ever seen.
I'm not the biggest fan of guns, but these pictures make me want to go shooting. I better not let the Boss know I want to, though... Gotta keep up appearances. ;)
Mosey totally looks cute in the earmuffs! You've got the best looking dog. ;)
I didn't even notice the bear until you mentioned it. That is pretty cool!
what a fun time!
OH MY GOSH Moses!!! SO CUTE!
